Cancellation Policy 

When making appointments at Innate Wellness with our practitioners, they set aside time for you to look after your health. As we can be booked up for months our time is valuable and trust you will understand why we have costs involved when cancelling appointments at short notice.

Please note the following:
  1. Cancelling within 24 Hours / No Show Fee: will be 50% of the Practitioner’s Consult Fee. (unless stated otherwise)
  2. New Patient Cancellation / No Show Fee: will be the full deposit taken at the time of booking.
  3. No new appointments can be made without first paying your outstanding balance.

Privacy Policy 

This privacy policy is to provide information to you, our patient, on how your personal information (which includes your health information) is collected and used within our practice, and the circumstances in which we may share it with third parties. 

When you register as a client of our centre, you provide consent for our Consultants and practice staff to access and use your personal information so they can provide you with the best possible care. Only staff who need to see your personal information will have access to it. If we need to use your information for anything else, we will seek additional consent from you to do this. 

Our centre will need to collect your personal information to provide healthcare services to you. Our main purpose for collecting, using, holding and sharing your personal information is to manage your health. We also use it for directly related business activities, such as financial claims and payments, practice audits and accreditation, and business processes (eg staff training). 

The information we will collect about you includes your: • names, date of birth, addresses, contact details  • medical information including medical history, medications, allergies, adverse events, immunisations, social history, family history and risk factors  • Medicare number (where available) for identification and claiming purposes  • healthcare identifiers  • health fund details. 

We may also collect your personal information when you visit our website, send us an email or SMS, telephone us, make an online appointment or communicate with us using social media. 

 In some circumstances personal information may also be collected from other sources. Often this is because it is not practical or reasonable to collect it from you directly.

This may include information from: 

  • Your guardian or responsible person
  • Other involved healthcare providers, such as specialists, allied health professionals, hospitals, community health services and pathology and diagnostic imaging services
  • Your health fund, Medicare, or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (as necessary)

Disclosure of personal information

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, Innate Wellness will not disclose any Personally Identifiable or Personal Health Information it gathers from you on our website.


We will only release Personally Identifiable or Personal Health Information to third parties:

(i) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order.

(ii) in special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others. In the event that we are legally compelled to disclose your Personally Identifiable or Personal Health Information to a third party, we will attempt to notify you unless doing so would violate the law or court order.

Changes to privacy policy We will inform you if a material change to the Privacy Policy is made that involves the use of your Personally Identifiable Information.
